Settling of the huge debt of GH 5.8 billion is a plain and significant turning point of the government attempts to cater for its financial obligations, especially in changing the document debt exchange program initiated last year (2023) .
Which aimed at individual pension bond holders, to form part of the government’s strategy in attaining revenue targets to reach the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Agreement.

The Republic of China and France and other bilateral creditors were brought to a speech – on knees for acknowledgements for a positive contribution in reaching the agreement by Prez. Akuffo Addo.
